Gary Hogue Benefit Concert

Several of Gary's friends got together and held a benefit concert in Gary's honor. Howard Decker and his band performed. The bluegrass group, WhiteWater, featuring Greg and Brad Davis and Randy Childers also performed. Marty's Rock & Roll Cowboy band also did a couple of songs with guest singers. All in all, it was a fabulous afternoon.

Lots of items were donated and auctioned off. Autographed CDs, pictures, a leather outfit from LeAnn Rimes, a beautiful fringed denim jacket by Emmylou Harris. George Jones had signed a guitar and Marty and the Rock & Roll Cowboys also signed a guitar. The entire event raised $3,000.

There was a huge dance floor and a few of the attendees danced. Marty's fans showed up: Cindy Allred, Shelby Jean Gootee, Tami Krato, Margie Sullivan, Mary Runyan, Judy Trickett, Evelyn Totty, Gary, Barbara and Melanie Renfro.

This warm, sunny afternoon of music was for Nikki and Elliott. It was good seeing a smile on Nikki's face and she was invited out on the dance floor by several gentlemen. She even tried to teach Elliott some dance steps.

It came with 3 Emmylou CDs and went for $400.
Danny and Kathy Meadows (l) eye the new

of that is the guitar autographed by George Jones.
The gentlemen in the sunglasses bid $600 and got it!
