Sorry it's taken me a while to get back to do this, but for being an incredibly mercurial type of person, I have felt peculiarly at a loss for words as of late. So instead of really writing a complete paragraph here, I'm just going to throw the words out that come to mind about this show, being unable to find the links that hook them all together:

Warmth
Talent
Professional
Inventive
Sparkly
Creative
Exciting
Sexy
Flying
More Talent
Hot
Live
Music
Fun

Funny

Now as for particular details y'all might be interested in:

Marty had on a buckskin-colored shirt that had fringe on the sleeve edge and a bodice fringe. The fringe had sequins on each piece so, when the light hit it, it sparked like a rainbow. He had on jeans which came equipped with the standard hole, 2 to 3 inches above the knee, left leg. I'll let your imagination do the rest.

I loved the Rock & Roll Cowboy show too. Those guys are just great. Marty and Brad did a hot acoustic bluegrassy type jammin' duet. Great job Brad! Gary Hogue receives high praise for his steel licks extraordinaire. I also want to mention he does a great job of steel playing on Connie's new CD too. Go Gary!

Marty is really evolving to be an excellent professional showman/musician. It's not so much the prize at the end of the road as the learning experience of the journey itself. I've seen Marty 8 times in the last 8 years, with 5 M&G's. I've loved every one, but I must say that, at this show, he sounded the best, seemed relaxed and warm, looked extremely happy, and put on the best overall show. Go Marty. I'll be ready to go back any time for another round of good music and good times.
