Stuart and Haggard Team Up For First Time

Marty Stuart and Merle Haggard were in a Nashville studio Monday (Feb. 10) to record “Farmer’s Blues,” a song written by Stuart and his wife, Grand Ole Opry member Connie Smith. Set to appear on Stuart’s upcoming album for Sony Music Nashville, it marks his first time to record with the Country Music Hall of Fame member. Haggard performs Tuesday (Feb. 11) at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium.
