Sugar Hill Records invites you to spend an evening of classic country music with us at Music City Roots – September 7, 2011. Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superlatives will be joined by the Rolls Royce of country music singers, Miss Connie Smith as well as Nashville’s hippest country guitarist Kenny Vaughan.

Connie Smith recently released Long Line of Heartaches on Sugar Hill Records, which has been receiving rave reviews. Associated Press writes that “Long Line of Heartaches serves as a welcome reminder of why Smith ranks among country’s most beloved artists”, and the Nashville Scene calls the album “an immaculately recorded collection that demonstrates the power of straight-down-the-line country.” Connie’s longtime road band The Sundowners will join her onstage.

On September 13, 2011 Sugar Hill will also be releasing Kenny Vaughan’s solo debut V. Marty Stuart calls Kenny Vaughan “the coolest cat in anybody’s town and one of the hottest guitar players in the world”. Don’t miss your chance to hear the most authentic real country music this town has to offer!
