Marty Stuart As Cool As Mickey Mouse In Paisley Household

Marty Stuart has a new fan. Two-year old Huck Paisley, son of singer Brad Paisley and his wife Kimberly Williams-Paisley, is an avid viewer of The Marty Stuart Show, the country music variety program that Stuart hosts on the RFD Network.

When he was at the Grand Ole Opry last Saturday, Huck's dad was chatting with WSM Radio personality Eddie Stubbs. During the conversation, Paisley mentioned that Huck thinks Stuart is as cool as Mickey Mouse. "We watch Marty's show every week," Paisley said, adding that he and Huck usually watch it together on YouTube. "Huck thinks Marty is very cool and hip."

Paisley also told Stubbs that he has asked his manager to book him on The Marty Stuart Show when it tapes its second season later this year.

A few days after the conversation with Paisley took place at the Opry, Stubbs welcomed Stuart to his night-time radio show. He told the singer about his conversation with Paisley and what he had said about how much Huck liked the program. Stubbs also told Stuart that Paisley wanted to be on his show for the upcoming season. Stuart didn't hesitate with his answer. "Brad is welcome anytime," he assured Stubbs, "as long as he brings Huck with him!"

Stuart patterns the television series after country music shows from the 1960's similar to those hosted by the late Porter Waggoner or the Wilburn Brothers. The Marty Stuart Show airs Sundays on the RFD Network.
