There are a lot of duet, tribute and gospel projects brewing in country music this year.

June Carter Cash's son, John Carter Cash, has two tributes to his mom arriving in June (of course), according to Country Standard Time. An album will feature the likes of Rosanne Cash, Elvis Costello (doing "Ring of Fire"), Loretta Lynn, Brad Paisley, Ralph Stanley and Marty Stuart. A number of duets will be sprinkled in the set with these teams: Willie Nelson and Sheryl Crow, Carlene Carter and Ronnie Dunn and Patty Loveless with Kris Kristofferson.

Meanwhile, John has written a memoir and biography of June that will be out a few days before her birthday on the 19th.

Marty has a duets set coming later this year. The lineup includes musical partnerships with Johnny Cash, Lester Flatt, Merle Haggard, B.B. King, Loretta, Travis Tritt and Connie "Mrs. Marty Stuart" Smith. By the way, Marty did release a gospel collection a few years ago, in case you missed it. "Souls' Chapel" is a collection of "Mississippi" gospel, according to Marty's Web site.
