An Evening With Marty Stuart And Travis Tritt

This appeared on OvertureCenter.com - June 21, 2008

Two stars add up to a whole lot of country magic when Travis Tritt teams up with Marty Stuart for an evening of acoustic country music. Stuart got his start in the early 1970s as a sideman with legendary bluegrass picker Lester Flatt, before emerging as a bandleader in the 1980s. His resume includes collaborations with such immortals as Doc Watson and Johnny Cash. Tritt, a member of the Grand Ole Opry, has had more than 30 songs on the Billboard “Hot Country” charts since his 1989 debut. Together, these two giants of country music—who teamed up to record the 1992 Grammy-winning hit “The Whiskey Ain’t Workin’” —represent the best of their genre.
