Marty Stuart is a bluegrass and country artist from Philadelphia, Mississippi. Among other projects, Mr. Stuart is currently "producing the soundtrack for the Martin Scorsese movie Hi-Lo Country, writing the final songs for a play called Moon Shine!, and writing songs for a new album to be called The Pilgrim." When asked to name the three albums he would want to have if he were stranded on a desert island (with electricity), he answered, "Johnny Cash's Live at Folsom Prison, the Muddy Waters boxed set, and the latest Spice Girls album--I could break the CD in half and use one piece as a mirror and one as a razor to shave--I could also use a piece to peel bananas."
