                  introducing the guests. "From Nashville, Tennessee,

                  air castle of the south, it's time for The Marty
                  Stuart Show featuring Marty Stuart, the Rolls Royce of
                  country singers Miss Connie Smith, the ole Tennessee
                  Slicker Leroy Troy, along with all the Fabulous
                  Superlatives: Cousin Kenny Vaughan, Handsome Harry
                  Stinson, the Apostle Paul Martin, plus Gary Carter on
                  the steel guitar. And today's special guests, Gene
                  Watson, along with Andy Leftwich, Aubrey Haynie, and
                  Dirk Johnson. Join us now for 30 minutes of fun and
                  great country music. I'm Eddie Stubbs. Now, how 'bout
                  a Superlative welcome for our host. Here is Marty
                  Stuart." Marty said, "Ahhh yeah." Marty and His
                  Fabulous Superlatives performed "I'm Tired." 
 Marty said, "I'll swap with you,
                  Apostle." Paul handed Marty a guitar and said, "There
                  ya go." Marty said, "Howdy back to you, ladies and
                  gentlemen. Thank you for comin' to see us on The Marty
                  Stuart Show. Before we go any further, how 'bout a
                  hand for Mr. Dirk Johnson on the piano, Andy Leftwich
                  and Aubrey Haynie on the fiddles. Good job, gentlemen.
                  I'm gonna tell it like it is. Here comes one of the
                  greatest country music singers on the planet Earth
                  .... Mr. Gene Watson. Hello Gene Watson. Welcome my
                  friend. Welcome, welcome, Gene." Gene said, "Thank you,
                  Marty." Marty said, "It's all yours." Gene said, "All
                  right. Thank you very much. Pleasure to be here."
                  Marty said, "Yes sir." Gene performed "Love In The Hot
                  Afternoon."   Marty said, "That's the way you do
                  that right there. Mr. Gene Watson." Gene said, "Thank
                  you." Marty said, "Thank you, old friend." Gene said,
                  "Appreciate it." Eddie said, " 'Love In The Hot
                  Afternoon', by one of the all-time great country
                  singers, Mr. Gene Watson. Thank you, sir." Eddie
                  promoted Marty's CD Ghost Train: The Studio B
                    Sessions. After a commercial break, Marty said,
                  "Glad to see ya. How 'bout a hand for Mr. Gene Watson,
                  Dirk Johnson, Andy and Aubrey. Thank you, Gene. Thank
                  you, boys. And on the front row, got kinfolks
                  representin' Burnside, Mississippi. Mac Eubanks and
                  cousin Dylan. How 'bout a hand for the boys. From one
                  great country singer to another. Here she comes. How
                  'bout a hand for Miss Connie Smith, everybody. Hi Constance.
                  Sing m a song Miss Rosa Lee Mathis wrote." Connie
                  said, "I would love to." Marty said, "What's it
                  called?" Connie said, "It's called 'Love Is The Look
                  You're Looking For'." Marty said, "That's the
                  one."
 Marty said, "Miss Connie Smith. Miss
                  Connie Smith, good job. She did a good job. Make
                  welcome The Fabulous Superlatives, along with Andy and
                  Aubrey. Here it is ... fiddle time." They performed
                  "Oh, What A Silent Night."
  After a commercial break, Marty
                  said, "Like the man said, come and see ya on a dusty
                  road. Ladies and gentlemen, may I present to you ...
                  here he is, Gene, the Sultan of Goodlettsville, the
                  ole Tennessee Slicker, the most popular man in country
                  music. Leroy Troy, ladies and gentlemen. You know Dirk
                  and Gene, Andy and Aubrey, Superlatives. You on top of
                  your game today?" 
 Leroy: "I'm on top of my game."
 Marty: "Come on, tell me more. Tell
                  me more."
 Leroy: "The topic today ...."
 Marty: "Yes .... "
 Leroy: "... is home repair."
 Marty: "Never ending."
 Leroy: "It's never ending, you got
                  that right."
 Marty: "What key is the home repair
                  thing in?"
 Leroy: "Key of G."
 Marty: "All right."
 Leroy performed "This Old House."  
 Marty said, "Excellent job, sir."
                  Eddie said, "Well, it's been done a lot of ways
                  through the years and now we can say it's been done by
                  Leroy Troy. 'This Old House'. It's hymn time on the
                  program. We call on The Fabulous Superlatives now with
                  one that Charlie Monroe wrote and recorded way back in
                  the 1940's. 'When The Angels Carry Me Home'." 
                After a commercial break, Eddie
                  promoted the Leroy Troy's The Old Grey Mare
                  CD. Eddie said, "And now, let's return to Marty
                  Stuart." Marty said, "And let's return to Eddie Stubbs
                  with a nice round of applause. Gene Watson, it is an
                  honor to have you come by this show."Gene said, "It's
                  my pleasure, Marty." Marty continued, "And I mean it.
                  And on behalf of all The Fabulous Superlatives, we
                  love you very much and think you're one of the
                  greatest of all time." Gene said, "I appreciate it.
                  Hey, they're some great guys. It's an honor for me to
                  be on the show." Marty said, "Glad to have ya. Would
                  ya sing a little country music for me right now?" Gene
                  said, "I'm gonna put my best foot forward." Marty said,
                  "How 'bout a hand for Mr. Watson." Gene sang "My
                  Farewell Party." 
 Marty said, "Go ahead, Cous. That's the way to do
                    it. That's the way the big men do it, right there.
